I
NTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON FLOW VISUALIZATION

CONFERENCE SERIES

HOME SITE

The Symposium comprise a series which began in Tokyo in 1977 under the foreseeing chairmanship of Prof. T. Asanuma and successively in Bochum, Ann Arbor, Paris, Prague, Yokohama, Seattle, Sorrento, Edinburgh, Kyoto, Notre Dame and Göttingen and Nice. The 14th isfv will be held in Daegu, Korea in 2010.The objective of the Symposium series is to provide a forum for communication and information exchange in the broad field of flow visualization applied over the wide range of disciplines that depend on this technique. These include: experimental and computational fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, mechanical and chemical engineering, metallurgy, meteorology, oceanography, biomedical, food and agricultural technology. The proceedings of the conferences have been published on CD since the initiative taken by Prof. G. M. Carlomagno at the Sorrento meeting allowing authors to include in their papers color, video clips and animations.
